Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 60 months of experience in Mechanical design, Gearbox design, Engine/propulsion design.
• Alternate Education: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Alternate Experience: 24 months in Mechanical design, Gearbox design, Engine/propulsion design.

Responsibilities

• Detail design of Archer’s Electric Engine with motor, gearbox, inverter and thermo-lubrication systems.
• Own design of several components through design, manufacturing/assembly, and test/validation phases.
• Develop innovative design solutions.
• Create component drawings and work with suppliers to manufacture designs.
• Perform component-level finite element analysis to validate designs.
• Design test setups for design validation.
• Support engineering prototype builds and design validation testing.
