Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical component and system design from concept to production.
• Drive new product development projects and technical decision-making.
• Translate customer and market requirements into engineering solutions.
• Own engineering releases, BOMs, technical documentation, and design reviews.
• Develop designs using PTC Creo and collaborate with suppliers on component validation.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
• Conduct benchmarking, value engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical component and system design from concept to production
• Drive new product development projects and technical decision-making

• Experience within vehicle, transportation, automotive, powersports, heavy equipment, or similar industries
• Experience with PTC Creo, FEA, DFMEA, APQP, DFM, and structured problem‑solving methodologies
• Knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes (injection molding, thermoforming, extrusion, blow molding) and metal fabrication processes (stamping, welding, die casting, extrusion)
