As a Senior Design Engineer, you will design and develop new mechanical products and equipment while leading engineering projects, validating designs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and operational improvements. Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in design/development engineering within a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of management and leadership experience
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products

Essential Functions
- Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new products and equipment.
- Develop testing processes to validate new product and equipment designs.
- Perform testing and validation of new designs.
- Generate working prototypes and 3D models for beta testing and stakeholder demonstrations.
- Perform engineering calculations to support mechanical design work.
- Create technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Review technical drawings, plans, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
- Manage and maintain technical document management systems.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project execution.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to support engineering projects.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation to track design progress and development.
- Execute engineering projects using a hands‑on approach.
- Develop a mutual understanding of active projects with product, process, and equipment engineering teams during the first three months and assist in reprioritizing project work.
- Execute prioritized engineering projects while demonstrating measurable improvements in cost, quality, productivity, and revenue.
