Job summary

MAU Workforce Solutions in Conway, SC is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to design and develop mechanical products, lead engineering projects, validate designs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 5+ years of design experience in a manufacturing environment, and 5+ years of leadership. Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential; MS Office skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of design/development engineering experience in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of management and leadership experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks; strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and create mechanical designs for new products and equipment.
• Develop testing processes to validate designs.
• Perform testing and validation of new designs.
• Create prototypes and 3D models for beta testing.
• Maintain technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and vendors.
• Lead projects and drive cost, quality, productivity improvements.
