Job description

MAU is hiring a Process Quality Engineer for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Process Quality Engineer, you will apply standard engineering techniques to assigned tasks while ensuring quality, quantity, and timeliness goals are met to support department objectives. This is a long-term contract opportunity with an assignment duration of 18 months with potential for direct hire.

Shift Information
  • Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline
  • Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Aerospace preferred)
  • Experience in manufacturing
  • Experience with assembly and/or machining
General Requirements
  • Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret data, engineering drawings, and technical procedures
  • Strong ability to write process planning steps and generate work instruction methods
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills with proven problem-solving ability
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
Essential Functions
  • Document technical data to substantiate assigned components, assemblies, and/or systems in accordance with quality policies and procedures
  • Prioritize and implement multiple concurrent process improvement projects independently or as part of a multifunctional team to drive customer satisfaction and productivity
  • Provide advanced quality engineering support for processes or automated equipment
  • Apply standard engineering techniques to assigned tasks and ensure goals for quality, quantity, and timeliness are met
  • Conduct training on quality assurance concepts and tools
  • Maintain and improve process documentation to ensure consistent quality within assigned areas
