Job summary

KP seeks a technical/functional leader to oversee design and construction of complex medical/regional facilities, handling budgets in the $100–$150 million range. This role guides all phases, from scope through close‑out, ensuring client service goals are met.

Responsibilities include guiding design stages, economic comparisons, permit procurement, and supervising on‑site teams while coordinating with KP leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years experience in construction and/or design project management.
• Minimum three (3) years experience in a leadership role.
• Minimum three (3) years experience implementing large, complex projects in a corporate, non‑profit, or government environment.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and minimum eight (8) years experience in project management or a directly related field OR Minimum eleven (11) years experience in project management or a directly related field.

Responsibilities

• Promotes learning in others by communicating information and providing advice to drive projects forward; builds relationships with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Conducts or oversees business‑specific projects by applying deep expertise in subject area; promotes adherence to procedures and policies.
• Manages multiple large‑scale projects with responsibility and accountability from initiation to close‑out; develops and manages complex project plans.
• Leads the work of large project teams; communicates a clear vision of project goals and objectives to the team.
• Proactively monitors, identifies, and mitigates project risks, issues, and trigger events; develops mitigation plans.
