Job summary

Kitchell is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager / Sr. Project Manager (OSHPD/HCAI) for the San Francisco Bay Area.

The role leads pre-construction services, then pivots to on-site construction management, with focus on MEP systems and hospital requirements. Ideal candidate has 12+ years of construction experience, including California healthcare market experience, with strong contracts, drawings, estimates, and stakeholder coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred; high school degree required.
• 12+ years of construction experience with at least 5 years in California Healthcare market as PM.
• Experience with pre-construction programming and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience coordinating with hospital stakeholders such as Physicians, Staff, Facilities.
• Experience with ground-up hospital tower projects >$150M preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute pre-construction services for a new ground-up hospital tower.
• Act as an Owners Representative with client/stakeholder facing responsibilities.
• Coordinate, direct, and monitor contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and related entities.
• Manage project controls, cost, schedule, performance, and procedures.
• Conduct project meetings and maintain documentation and tracking.
