Job summary

KP in Pleasanton, CA, seeks a senior project manager to oversee all design and construction phases for moderately complex projects with $50-100 million budgets. You will guide facility staff, general contractors, and consultants to meet KP goals through scope, budget, and schedule management.

The role requires leadership across design through close-out, negotiating fees, reviewing invoices, and securing permits, while ensuring timely program status updates to KP leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years experience in construction and/or design project management.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a leadership role.
• Bachelor's degree + five (5) years experience in project management or eight (8) years experience in project management or a directly related field.
• Experience managing large-scale projects with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Promotes learning by proactively providing and/or developing information, resources, advice, and expertise with coworkers and stakeholders; builds relationships across teams.
• Completes work autonomously and supports projects by applying expertise to generate creative solutions.
• Manages large-scale projects from initiation to close-out and develops project plans (scope, schedule, inter-dependencies, resources).
• Leads project teams, coordinates internal/external resources, and provides performance feedback.
• Proactively monitors risks, issues, and mitigation strategies; escalates as appropriate.
• Ensures adherence to KP policies and procedures and coordinates stakeholder alignment.
