Job summary

Clayco is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead design-build construction projects from concept through closeout in Phoenix, AZ. You will build client and subcontractor relationships and mentor PM staff while ensuring safety, budget, and schedule alignment across multidisciplinary teams.

Projects range from $60 million to over $250 million, with nationwide clients and frequent travel. The role demands leadership, urgency, and a results-driven mindset to deliver high-profile, complex builds on

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related.
10–15 years of experience managing construction projects ($50M+) ideally design-build.
Strong project safety record and commitment to safety and quality.
Experience with set-up, budget planning, buyout, and cost reporting.
Demonstrated knowledge of construction principles, practices, and technology.
Experience leading a successful project management team.

Responsibilities

Build client and subcontractor relationships.
Team with Architects, Engineers, and Planners to create and manage a design schedule.
Establish project forecasts and budgets.
Manage costs.
Accept full responsibility for project execution.
Mentor and develop project management staff.
