Job summary

Janotta & Herner in Ohio is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee large-scale design-build projects from conception to completion. You will coordinate design, engineering, construction, and client relationships to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

This role demands strong leadership, proven project management skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams, budgets, risk and safety compliance across complex programs up to $50 million.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years in project management, especially design-build construction.
• Strong leadership and team management across disciplines.
• Proficiency with project management software (Excel, Bluebeam, OST, MS Project).
• Excellent budgeting, cost estimation and negotiating skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design-build projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate design, engineering, construction, and client relationships.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage budgets, schedules, and risk.
• Maintain document controls and ensure safety compliance.
