Job summary

Janotta & Herner seeks a Senior Project Manager to oversee large‑scale design‑build projects from conception to completion. You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage budgets, and drive client relationships to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires coordinating design, engineering, construction, and regulatory compliance while maintaining high safety standards. You will direct project leadership, establish controls, and ensure quality across all phases, with accountability for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, particularly in design‑build construction projects.
• Certifications: Minimum 10‑hour OSHA or 30‑hour OSHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead point of contact for the client, providing regular updates and ensuring all client requirements are met.
• Set and manage realistic expectations with clients and stakeholders regarding project timelines, costs, and scope.
• Lead project scoping, feasibility analysis, planning and design, and manage budgets, schedules, and quality expectations.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, manage risks, and coordinate resources across disciplines.
• Identify and mitigate safety, environmental, financial, and operational risks to keep projects on track.
• Direct cross‑functional teams including project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Develop detailed budgets, oversee change orders, and monitor financial deviations from the budget.
• Establish document controls and maintain project communications to support collaboration.
