Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee design-build mega projects in Manhattan and NYC, acting as Owner’s Representative across multiple locations. You will lead project execution, coordinate with design-build teams, and manage budgets, schedules, and compliance while reporting to project leadership.

You will travel within NYC boroughs and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery, leveraging your leadership and PM skills to drive successful outcomes on a high-profile program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field with 10 years of experience.
• Experience as a Consultant (Owner’s Representative) or Contractor (Project Manager or greater role).

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall project execution of design-build initiatives, ensuring design specs, budget, and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with design-build team to develop and implement project plans in a task-oriented approach.
• Review payment requisitions and monitor contracts and budgets.
• Maintain comprehensive project records using a task-oriented style.
• Review change orders while preserving budget integrity and producing financial reports.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships with regular updates and communications.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality.
• Promote safety culture across all project sites and operations.
• Provide on-site leadership to project teams in NYC construction environments.
