ARCO/Murray National Construction, Chicago, IL, is seeking a Project Manager for the Industrial team to lead design/build light- and mid-industrial projects. From preconstruction to closeout, you will manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships on a variety of complex builds.

You will oversee subcontractors, coordinate with design teams, and drive value engineering while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field
• 2-5 years of construction management or engineering design experience
• Experience leading ground up commercial, light industrial, multi-family, hospitality, or entertainment construction projects preferred
• Proficiency using Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects from preconstruction through closeout
• Work with clients and design team to develop budget and preliminary concepts
• Participate in proposal meetings, review scope, and negotiate contracts & fees
• Oversee subcontractor selection and buyout for all trades and vendors
• Identify opportunities to procure materials directly when advantageous
• Coordinate with the Project Superintendent on scopes, schedule, and site logistics
• Lead preconstruction planning meetings with designers, subcontractors and vendors
• Lead on-site weekly/bi-weekly meetings to review progress and address challenges
• Track project performance against budget and prepare pay applications and status reports
• Maintain a culture focused on safety, quality, and client satisfaction
