Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. seeks a Senior Design Manager for Design-Build (D4DB) in Northern or Southern California. Lead multi-disciplinary teams on complex vertical building projects across California and the West region. Hybrid work with frequent travel to California project sites and offices.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive pursuit experience, and established relationships with California contractors and design-build partners. Travel will be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience leading complex building projects with multidisciplinary teams.
Proven success leading Design-Build/Progressive Design-Build/CMAR or similar delivery methods.
Established relationships with California contractors and Design-Build organizations.

Responsibilities

Lead Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CMAR and other delivery pursuits in California.
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers and Design-Build partners.
Represent Jacobs during engagements, pursuits, interviews and workshops with clients.
Guide design teams through pursuit, proposal and design development phases.
