Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in capital markets operations, derivatives support, market data management, trading controls, or a closely related financial services function.
• Working knowledge of derivative instruments such as interest rate swaps, options, caps, floors, swaptions, and structured products.
• Experience maintaining, validating, analyzing, or reconciling market data used in trading or valuation processes.
• Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, including the ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and perform detailed validation checks.
• Experience using Python, VBA, SQL, or comparable programming tools for data analysis, process automation, or operational reporting.
• Strong analytical judgment and the ability to investigate unexpected results rather than relying exclusively on automated system indicators.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily market data operations supporting derivatives trading, including interest rate curves, swap rates, credit spreads, and exchange-traded security prices across multiple currencies.
• Validate pricing information and valuation inputs to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy before daily sign-off.
• Investigate market data exceptions, pricing discrepancies, and unexpected system results, identifying root causes and coordinating appropriate resolutions.
• Maintain a strong understanding of data sources, upstream and downstream dependencies, manual adjustments, and operational control requirements.
• Execute recurring trading support processes with consistency, accuracy, and increasing independence.
• Develop and maintain operating procedures, reconciliation checklists, and control documentation to support reliable daily execution.
• Partner with Front Office, Middle Office, and Technology stakeholders to resolve issues affecting trading data and operational workflows.
• Identify opportunities to improve data validation, streamline recurring tasks, and strengthen existing controls through automation and process enhancements.
