Job summary

Citi is seeking a senior attorney in Tampa to lead negotiation and execution of derivatives documentation supporting global Markets trading activities. You will partner with front office, risk, and legal teams to manage ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs, and related collateral documentation across the full lifecycle.

The role requires deep expertise in ISDA, collateral documentation, and market practice, with strong stakeholder management and negotiation capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in financial services; managerial experience preferred.
• Bar license in good standing to practice law
• Juris Doctorate or equivalent law degree required

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead negotiator for ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules, CSAs, and related derivatives documentation across the full lifecycle.
• Provide legal guidance to Markets stakeholders, interpreting laws, rules, regulations and industry practices.
• Advise senior management on legal matters impacting trading activities and client relationships.
• Identify and manage legal, regulatory, and reputational risk in coordination with Legal, Risk, and ICRM; ensure alignment with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Trading, Sales, Credit, Risk, Operations, and Legal teams to deliver coordinated outcomes.
