Job summary

The role partners with front office, risk and legal teams to manage ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs and related collateral documentation, ensuring risk-appropriate, commercially viable solutions. You will advise senior management on legal matters, oversee complex negotiations, and drive process improvements across documentation

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant legal experience in financial services.
• Proven negotiation skills for ISDA Master Agreements and related documents.
• Bar license in good standing.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across front office, risk and compliance.
• Knowledge of banking regulations and international law.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiator for ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules, CSAs and related docs.
• Provide legal counsel to Markets stakeholders on laws and industry practices.
• Advise senior management on legal matters affecting trading activities and client relationships.
• Identify and manage legal, regulatory and reputational risk with cross-functional teams.
• Assess proposals against risk appetite and regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with Trading, Sales, Credit, Risk, Operations, and Legal for aligned outcomes.
• Oversee day-to-day legal and documentation activities and escalate high-risk matters.
• Contribute to strategic planning for Markets Contract Negotiations.
• Drive process improvements and standardization in workflows.
• Monitor complex issues and ensure governance and resolution.
• Uphold professional conduct and safeguard firm and clients.
