Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience, preferably in financial services.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating ISDA Master Agreements and Futures/Clearing contracts.
• Banking/financial industry experience and knowledge of banking regulations.
• Knowledge of international laws/regulations and industry practices impacting the business.
• Experience with complex deals and ability to analyze issues and craft legal solutions.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; trusted relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations and SME for ISDA Master Agreements, CSAs, and related derivatives documentation.
• Provide legal counsel on laws, rules, regulations, and industry practices.
• Advise senior management on legal matters affecting trading, clients, and strategy.
• Identify, evaluate and manage legal/regulatory risk with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Trading, Sales, Credit, Risk, Operations, and Legal across regions.
• Oversee daily legal/documentation activities and escalate high-risk matters.
• Contribute to strategic planning for Markets Contract Negotiations and documentation workflows.
