Job summary

The Oregon State Hospital, a major division of the Oregon Health Authority, seeks a Deputy of Site Operations to join its executive leadership. You will develop structured operational programs that ensure safety and continuity of services across the hospital, 24/7/365, reporting to the CFO/COO.

This role requires deep experience in complex facility management within an institutional or locked setting, with a focus on emergency planning, risk reduction, and cross‑campus collaboration to support

Qualifications

• Five years of management experience; OR two years of management experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and actively maintaining an emergency preparedness program, preferably for a hospital or institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide management direction on hospital-wide, non-clinical operational issues that lie outside of other OSH functional areas.
• Oversee departments that comprise Site Operations – Safety, Security, Facilities, and Support Operations for OSH.
• Serve as a key advisor to the CFO/COO and as a member of the Business and Site Operations leadership team.
• Direct and oversee the development of an Emergency Management Plan and a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).
• Oversee the development of reports and management studies related to OSH site operations and cost recovery.
• Provide guidance to department directors on design, implementation, and evaluation of business systems and processes.
• Coordinate across units to reduce barriers, mitigate risks, and improve efficiency.
• Oversee statements of work and contracts; serve as contract administrator for cross-section contracts.
