Job summary

NPAworldwide seeks a Deputy Project Manager to support delivery of the Hudson Tunnel Project, a landmark large-scale infrastructure program in the US. You will assist the Project Manager with controls, compliance, coordination, and field management to ensure on-time, on-budget package delivery.

The role requires a minimum of 8 years in major infrastructure projects, experience with federally funded programs, and strong skills in scheduling, cost estimating, risk management, and BIM/digital

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive project or construction management on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing federally funded projects with environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Advanced knowledge of project controls, including scheduling, cost estimating, risk management, and change management.
• Proficiency with BIM and digital delivery tools to support project execution.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills with a focus on safety and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in overall project leadership, staffing, contract administration, and coordination with partners.
• Lead stakeholder engagement by coordinating procurements, scope decisions, and reports.
• Oversee environmental compliance, NEPA evaluations, and Buy America programs.
• Direct project controls and reporting: schedule, budget, risk, changes, and document control.
• Lead package delivery and interface management, ensuring safety plans and field management.
• Oversee safety management and incident response planning.
• Lead QA/QC and testing activities, including commissioning of package systems.
• Oversee design review, BIM implementation, and project closeout activities.
