Job summary

New Horizon Bank is seeking a Senior Deposit Operations Associate to oversee deposits, payments, ACH, and related functions within iCore systems. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing while serving as a senior resource and mentor to teammates.

You will coordinate daily workflows, support process improvements, and assist with audits, tax reporting, and regulatory requirements under BSA, Patriot Act, and AML guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 8 years banking/deposit operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of EFTs, reconciliations, and exception processing.
• Ability to mentor staff and coordinate workflows.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Deposit Operations tasks and workflows.
• Research discrepancies and resolve GL items.
• Back-up currency orders and wire transfers.
• Prepare funds reports and support auditors.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls.
• Escalate significant issues to management.
