Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. seeks a Deployment Manager to lead field operations platform deployments in LatAm, reporting to the Lead Deployment Manager.

You will drive requirements, PoC validation, UAT, cutover planning, data migration, and hypercare while coordinating with Product Line, Business Analysts, and Support teams. You will oversee planning and readiness activities, monitor deployment KPIs, maintain thorough documentation, and ensure smooth knowledge handoff to delivery and support functions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project or implementation management experience in enterprise platform rollouts.
• Senior/Lead/Manager/Owner level experience in deployments.
• Direct experience coordinating requirements, UAT, go-live and hypercare phases.
• Strong governance, planning, and problem solving in Agile release cycles.
• Experience managing large teams (40+ members) and diverse stakeholders.
• Fluent English and Spanish and/or Portuguese.
• Knowledge of release management and KPIs for deployment success.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering and scoping with product line teams to map business needs to the standard solution.
• Document and track configuration requests for the Configuration team.
• Oversee PoC walkthroughs, validation, and refinements with stakeholders until full validation.
• Coordinate UAT within pre-production and production pilot phases.
• Plan deployment activities including cutover, data migration, and training readiness with Change Management and Super Users.
• Direct hypercare and post-launch support with teams, ensuring smooth handoff to steady-state support.
• Maintain backlog items and risk/impact analysis to inform Product Owner decisions.

Job description

We are looking for a Deployment Manager to join our team. You will be one of 4 Deployment Managers reporting to the Lead Deployment Manager, running assigned field operations platform deployments in LatAm hands-on through our 9-step Deployment Process (Program Identified, Requirements & Scoping, Validate Solution & Config Request, Build PoC, Review PoC, Delivery, Testing in PPD & Pilot in Prod, Deploy, Hypercare) and its four stage gates (Go/No-Go, Validate Requirements, Validate Solution, Deployment Ready). You are the single point of contact for the Product Line and local teams on your deployments, and you work with Business Analysts, the Configuration team, Change Management, Support, and Local Super Users.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements-gathering and scoping sessions alongside the Product Line, ensuring business needs map to the standard solution while teaming up with the Business Analyst to log enhancement requests Confirm solution validity and capture every configuration request in documentation destined for the Configuration team Walk the Product Line through the PoC, gather their input, and push for refinements with the Configuration team until the solution earns full validation Oversee UAT execution within pre-production alongside the production pilot phase, coordinating closely with Product Line testers and Local Super Users Drive deployment planning and readiness activities, covering cutover logistics, data migration, training preparedness in collaboration with Change Management and Super Users, and finalizing the go-live checklist Direct hypercare and secondary support efforts in conjunction with Super Users, the Configuration team, and Support, ultimately transitioning responsibility to the standing support function Compile supporting documentation for each stage gate while keeping the Lead Deployment Manager informed on progress, risks, and emerging issues Keep backlog items in good order for your deployments, spanning user stories, requirements, and configuration requests, while delivering analysis on risk, dependencies, and operational impact to inform Product Owner choices Monitor deployment and adoption KPIs together with data quality indicators, while guaranteeing thorough documentation and effective knowledge handoff to delivery and support teams

Requirements

At least 10 years of applicable background in project or implementation management, or within operational and platform-focused roles, including enterprise platform rollouts in operational settings A minimum of 5 years spent in Senior, Lead, Manager, or Owner-level capacities Demonstrated history managing engagements for teams of 40 or more full-time staff Direct, practical experience steering implementations across requirements definition, UAT, go-live, and hypercare stages Strong grasp of field or inspection-based operations, with the judgment to separate genuine business needs from local preference Well-developed planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Ease of operating within Agile frameworks, handling backlogs, and working through release cycles Solid business acumen applied toward deployment and implementation decisions Background crafting and carrying out deployment strategies across varied environments Experience in implementation, scaling, and transition efforts tied to enterprise platforms History leading project rollouts from the planning stage through full execution Proficient in analyzing and managing risk across the full deployment lifecycle Knowledge of software release management approaches that support smooth, well-controlled rollouts Fluent English combined with Spanish and/or Portuguese, with proficiency in at least one of these required Nice to have Background supporting end-user adoption and change management to enable smoother platform rollouts Knowledge of tracking metrics and KPIs to gauge deployment success Experience handling project hypercare and post-launch operate phases Solid stakeholder management capabilities spanning varied teams and business areas Relevant certification, which would be considered a valuable addition to your qualifications
