Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking a Deployment Manager to lead field operations deployments in LatAm, working hands-on through our 9-step deployment process and four stage gates.

You will coordinate with Product Line, BA, and Change Management, ensuring requirements are captured, solutions validated, and deployments go live smoothly. The role requires 8+ years in related projects, 3+ years in senior-level roles, and fluency in English with Spanish and/or Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment planning, cutover, data migration, and end-user training readiness.
• Manage hypercare and second-level support with Super Users and Support until handover.
• Provide status reports on progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to Lead Deployment Manager.
• Maintain backlog quality for deployments and analyze risks and operational impact.

Job description

We are looking for a Deployment Manager to join our team. You will be one of 4 Deployment Managers reporting to the Lead Deployment Manager, running assigned field operations platform deployments in LatAm hands‑on through our 9-step Deployment Process (Program Identified, Requirements & Scoping, Validate Solution & Config Request, Build PoC, Review PoC, Delivery, Testing in PPD & Pilot in Prod, Deploy, Hypercare) and its four stage gates (Go/No-Go, Validate Requirements, Validate Solution, Deployment Ready). You are the single point of contact for the Product Line and local teams on your deployments, and you work with Business Analysts, the Configuration team, Change Management, Support, and Local Super Users

Responsibilities

• Facilitate requirements and scoping workshops with the Product Line, aligning business needs with the standard solution and working with the Business Analyst to capture enhancement requests
• Validate the proposed solution and document all configuration requests for handoff to the Configuration team
• Present the PoC to the Product Line, collect feedback, and drive refinement with the Configuration team until the solution is fully validated
• Coordinate UAT activities in pre-production along with the production pilot, working closely with Product Line testers and Local Super Users
• Lead deployment planning and readiness efforts, including cutover activities, data migration, end‑user training readiness in partnership with Change Management and Super Users, and completion of the go‑live checklist
• Manage hypercare and second‑level support activities alongside Super Users, the Configuration team, and Support, before formally handing over to the support function
• Prepare supporting evidence for each stage gate and report on progress, risks, and issues to the Lead Deployment Manager
• Maintain backlog quality for assigned deployments, covering user stories, requirements, and configuration requests, while providing risk, dependency, and operational impact analysis to support Product Owner decision‑making
• Track deployment and adoption KPIs along with data quality metrics, ensuring proper documentation and smooth knowledge transfer to delivery and support teams

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in project or implementation management, or in operational and platform roles, including enterprise platform rollouts within operational environments
• At least 3 years in Senior, Lead, Manager, or Owner-level roles
• Proven track record managing engagements for teams of 20 or more full‑time employees
• Hands‑on experience guiding implementations through requirements gathering, UAT, go‑live, and hyper‑care phases
• Solid understanding of field or inspection operations, with the ability to distinguish legitimate business requirements from local preferences
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem‑solving capabilities
• Comfort working within Agile teams, managing backlogs, and operating within release cycles
• Strong business acumen applied to deployment and implementation decision‑making
• Experience developing and executing deployment strategies across multiple environments
• Background in implementation, scaling, and transition management for enterprise platforms
• Experience leading project rollouts from planning through execution
• Skilled in risk analysis and management throughout the deployment lifecycle
• Familiarity with software release management practices to ensure smooth, controlled rollouts
• Fluent English plus Spanish and/or Portuguese, with at least one of these languages required
• Nice to have Experience with end‑user adoption and change management practices to support smooth platform rollouts
• Familiarity with tracking metrics and key performance indicators to measure deployment success
• Background in project hypercare and ongoing operate phases following go‑live
• Strong stakeholder management skills across diverse teams and business functions
• Relevant certification, which would be considered a valuable addition to your qualifications
