Job summary

Centurum is seeking an experienced engineer to support USSOCOM programs, including SATCOM systems and SOCS IPT. You will design, test, and integrate deployable communications equipment, conduct complex analyses, and prepare detailed specifications and reports.

Requires Top Secret clearance eligibility and hands-on experience with defense electronics. The role involves planning and executing tests, collaborating with multiple commands, and ensuring technical adequacy of deliverables across CONUS

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in engineering technology, math, or science.
• Formal electronics training or apprenticeship with hands-on testing.
• Clearance eligibility and ability to design, test, and integrate systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform SOCS Deployable Communications system support in CONUS/OCONUS.
• Design, develop, and construct major units or equipment.
• Conduct tests, analyze results, and report findings with recommendations.
• Plan tests, determine requirements, and modify designs to meet specs.
• Review and integrate technical work of others; may train junior technicians.
