Job summary

Centurum is seeking a highly skilled engineer to support SOCS Integrated Product Team for NIWC Atlantic, delivering tactical Deployable SATCOM and C5ISR systems for USSOCOM and Expeditionary commands.

You will perform design, testing, analysis, and deployment tasks across CONUS/OCONUS, with the required Top Secret clearance and ability to coordinate with multiple military stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Education as listed: assoc. degree or formal electronics training.
• Experience with design, testing, and modification of electronic systems.
• Top Secret clearance eligibility or existing clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform SOCS Managed Tactical Deployable Communications FoS support inside and outside CONUS/OCONUS.
• Design, develop, and construct major units, devices, or equipment.
• Conduct tests or experiments; analyze results; redesign or modify equipment to improve performance.
• From guidelines and specs, develop designs for equipment with challenging performance requirements.
• Analyze technical data to determine applicability to design problems.
• Plan or assist in planning tests to evaluate equipment performance.
• Determine test requirements, equipment modifications, and test procedures.
• Conduct tests using all types of instruments; analyze results and prepare reports.
• Train and assist lower-level technicians and ensure technical adequacy.
