Job summary

Akur8 is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to drive Deploy implementations for insurance clients in North America and Latin America. You will guide clients from technical discovery through onboarding, integration, and go-live, bridging actuarial and IT needs in a fast-moving SaaS environment.

The role demands extensive experience with IT integrations, policy administration systems, and rating workflows, plus strong communication skills in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Experience in project delivery, implementation management, or customer-facing technical roles.
• Insurance industry experience, with strong knowledge of policy administration systems, rating, and insurance product workflows. Guidewire experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience managing IT integrations in enterprise environments, including integrations between policy administration systems and rating or pricing engines.
• Technical fluency (APIs, JSON, system design) and the ability to explain and defend how a rating engine behaves under a customer’s actual configuration.
• Familiarity with SaaS delivery models and onboarding processes.
• Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders, including customer engineering and actuarial teams.
• Ability to work through complexity and ambiguity, and to manage several projects at once.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical outcome of Deploy engagements from discovery to production, with the customer’s team doing the build.
• Act as the primary technical contact for insurers integrating Deploy with PAS and other systems.
• Coordinate with client IT teams, system integrators, and product teams; drive milestones with clear plans.
• Identify and isolate broken customer setups; escalate with a tested working theory when needed.
• Lead technical discovery sessions on IT landscapes, data flows, and onboarding readiness.
• Present integration architectures and deliver tailored product demonstrations.
• Provide input to statements of work and technical annexes.
• Serve as the go-to technical contact during onboarding and delivery.
