Qualifications

• 7+ years of apparel technical design experience with denim
• Experience in luxury/contemporary denim product development
• Degree in Fashion Design or Fashion Merchandising (or equivalent)
• Proficiency in denim construction methods, wash treatments, and quality standards
• Advanced pattern evaluation and garment fit analysis skills
• Expert use of Adobe Illustrator and Gerber/RLM systems
• Experience with digital garment simulation and AI-assisted fit analysis

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical specs for denim styles, ensuring consistency across silhouettes and washes
• Lead fit sessions, capture feedback, and translate into pattern corrections and engineering solutions
• Create and manage detailed tech packs from design to production with POMs, tolerances, and grading
• Partner with Design, Product Development, and Production to resolve fit, quality, and manufacturing issues
• Evaluate vendor samples for fit, construction quality, and workmanship at CS/PP/TOP stages
• Collaborate with Patternmakers, Production, and overseas factories to resolve construction challenges
• Track overseas development and ensure timely fit approvals and calendar milestones
• Finalize and issue graded production specifications for approved denim styles
• Maintain clear communication across geographies and time zones
• Mentor and develop junior team members and foster collaboration
