Job summary

Tarte Cosmetics seeks a Demand Planning Manager to lead forecast accuracy and cross‑functional planning with Supply, Sales, Marketing, and Finance. You’ll own the forecasting process, apply models, track performance, and guide the wholesale and retail plans to align with financial targets.

The role requires strong Excel skills, ERP/BI experience, and cosmetics industry familiarity, with a competitive compensation package and benefits.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years in Demand Planning, Sales Planning or Supply Chain
• Strong Excel skills required; Vanguard experience a plus
• Proven track record owning forecast accuracy metrics and improvement
• Strong analytical skills with clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders
• Experience with demand planning/ERP systems (SAP IBP, Kinaxis, O9, Anaplan) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Working knowledge of sales strategy and brand positioning
• Flexible, adaptive mindset in a fast-paced environment
• Cosmetics/CPG industry experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Own monthly SKU/retailer forecasting process with statistical methods
• Lead new product forecasting, launch phasing and post-launch tracking
• Assess cannibalization risk and growth opportunities for launches
• Own forecast accuracy and bias metrics; drive root-cause analysis
• Translate variance findings into forward forecast revisions
• Participate in S&OP and business reviews presenting insights
• Develop relationships with retailers for inventory feedback and joint forecasting
• Provide input to Supply Planning on inventory strategy
• Leverage AI/ML forecasting tools while applying business judgment
