Job summary

Chamberlain Group is seeking a Senior Demand Planning professional to lead the 18-month rolling demand plan within the S&OP/IBP framework. You will present assumptions, drivers, risks and opportunities, and drive collaborative forecasting with internal partners.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, a business or supply chain degree, and travel up to 10%. MBA and APICS/Lean/Six Sigma certifications are a plus as you help optimize forecasts and budget planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or Marketing.
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
• Willing to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
• MBA preferred; APICS CPIM/CSCP, Lean/Six Sigma, and/or PMP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead content creation for the monthly LOB Demand Review as part of the S&OP/IBP process, presenting the 18-month rolling demand plan and its drivers.
• Drive collaborative forecasting including identification of quantified risks and development of countermeasures with internal stakeholders.
• Lead demand planning reviews for multiple product families to drive on-time performance and process improvement.
• Incorporate guidance from Product Management and new product launches to support forecasts for new development.
• Create and maintain forecasting models for items at stocking locations and key customers to meet forecast accuracy goals.
• Manage the forecasting system (APO or similar) to optimize model accuracy and planner productivity.
• Ensure consensus forecast aligns with the 18-month forward plan before handoff to Supply.
• Contribute to annual budget and operating plan through cross-functional collaboration on assumptions and scenarios.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and protect confidentiality of information.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, networks and professional societies.
• Support team efforts by contributing to related projects as needed.
