Job summary

Humacyte Inc is seeking a Senior Demand Planner to leverage data and trends to forecast raw materials and finished goods. The role emphasizes collaboration with Manufacturing, Product Development, and external vendors to ensure alignment with forecasts and contractual obligations.

The candidate will develop KPIs, support ERP processes, and work to optimize inventory and capacity planning while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience.
• 5+ years in demand planning and forecasting preferred.
• 2–3 years in healthcare/life sciences preferred.
• Proficiency in statistics, forecasting methods and their impacts.
• Experience with Dynamics ERP or similar software preferred.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create statistical forecasts from data analysis and input from internal/external customers.
• Develop finished goods and raw materials forecasts monthly/yearly.
• Measure forecast accuracy for key vendors and select forecasting methods.
• Facilitate collaborative planning with stakeholders (S&OP).
• Prepare KPIs for management on capacity, purchases and inventory forecasts.
• Forecast warehouse capacity with supply planning and address gaps.
• Lead monthly collaborative planning meetings with suppliers and internal customers.
• Identify and implement improvements to the forecasting process.
• Support ERP and SOP development for demand planning.
