Job summary

HumCap is seeking a Production Planning & Materials Manager to lead production scheduling, material planning, inventory control, and supply chain execution for a high-volume electronics manufacturing operation.

You will ensure materials are available when needed, production schedules are met, inventory is optimized, and customer delivery commitments are achieved while leading a team of planners and collaborating with Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in production planning or supply chain operations.
• Experience leading planners, schedulers, or material teams.
• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems; SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead production planning and scheduling to meet demand and on-time delivery.
• Manage material planning and inventory control for uninterrupted operations.
• Drive MRP/ERP processes, maintaining accurate inventory, BOM, and planning data.
• Mitigate supply chain risks including shortages, excess inventory, and obsolescence.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Manufacturing, and Customer teams to ensure material flow.
• Monitor inventory performance, stock accuracy, cycle counts, and working capital metrics.
• Develop and track KPIs including on-time delivery, inventory turns, and shortage management.
• Support capacity planning and production loading to optimize resources.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of planners and material control professionals.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to resolve production and supply chain challenges.
