Job summary

Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a Sr Analyst, Forecast & Planning to align inventory goals with Amazon and internal teams. You will drive forecasting, replenishment, and analysis for category programs, ensuring accuracy in item setup and data for new and existing products.

You will lead consensus planning meetings, coordinate SKU and forecast processes, and foster strong cross-functional partnerships to execute customer programs successfully.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Experience in Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, Fulfillment or Distribution.
• Systems experience with SAP, JDA, Kinaxis or similar systems.
• Experience with forecasting dashboards, AI and forecasting tools.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• MS Office familiarity, especially Excel and Access.
• Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BDT Sales and Amazon Supply Chain to align forecasting, replenishment strategies and key metrics.
• Lead regular consensus planning meetings for assigned categories.
• Own and execute category analysis for promotional activity and off-shelf placement.
• Execute Ready for Season process ensuring data accuracy for new/existing products.
• Coordinate Program Product Offering; manage SKU listings and forecast files; drive new item setup with Sales and in customer systems; manage Monday boards.
• Build collaborative relationships with Scotts planning team for flawless execution of customer programs.
• Regulatory Support liaison; maintain state and county restrictions for compliance.
