Job summary

Scotts Miracle-Gro is seeking a Sr Analyst, Forecast & Planning to collaborate with the BDT Sales team and Amazon, aligning inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment strategies to improve forecast accuracy, in-stock levels, and inventory turns.

You will own category analyses, manage item setup, and drive data-driven programs across retailer e-commerce accounts, working closely with internal planning teams to ensure flawless execution of customer initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or other applicable fields.
• Experience in Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, Fulfillment or Distribution in retail or consumer products manufacturing.
• Experience with e-commerce retailers is a plus.
• Systems experience using SAP, JDA, Kinaxis, Amazon Vendor Central or similar.
• Experience with forecasting dashboards, AI and other forecasting tools.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite, especially Access and Excel.
• Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BDT Sales team and Amazon Supply Chain team to align inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment strategies.
• Lead regular consensus planning meetings for assigned categories to maintain alignment with customer program strategies.
• Own and execute category analysis that supports current and future SMG programs around promotional activity and off-shelf product placement.
• Execute the Ready for Season process to track item set up and ensure data accuracy for new and existing products.
• Coordinate Program Product Offering; manage SKU listings and forecast files, drive new item setup with Sales for retailer e-commerce accounts.
• Build collaborative relationships with Scotts planning team to ensure flawless execution of customer programs.
• Point of contact for Regulatory Support; maintain accurate State and County Restrictions on customer sites to ensure compliance.
