Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer DeltaV to lead automation projects for drug substance production at the new FleX Batch facility. You will design and qualify equipment, mentor automation staff, and ensure 24/7 operation support across upstream, downstream, and solution prep lines.

You will collaborate with capital projects, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with 21 CFR 11, GMP, and industry standards while advancing sustainability and Industry 4.0 capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in Engineering or related field with substantial engineering experience.
• Experience with Emerson DeltaV and process automation in GMP biopharma facilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical automation projects for drug substance production.
