Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Systems Engineer to lead DeltaV automation for drug substance production at our Holly Springs facility. You will drive capital projects, design, commission and qualify equipment, and provide on‑site leadership for 24/7 manufacturing operations.

Ideal candidates bring extensive DeltaV experience, strong project management skills, and a track record of validating process control systems within GMP biopharma environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED plus 10 years of engineering experience, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, construction, start-up and commissioning activities for site automation systems.
• Own 24/7 on-site operations support and troubleshooting of process control systems.
• Collaborate with capital projects to design and qualify new equipment and automation.
• Prepare SOPs and cGMP documentation for manufacturing processes.
