Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Delivery Manager to champion delivery excellence across large-scale initiatives within the Technology Delivery Management team. You will lead agile practices, coordinate interdependent workstreams, and provide executive-level reporting on portfolio performance and risks.

• Deep expertise in Agile and project management methodologies with strong adoption skills.
• Ability to manage interdependencies across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Strong understanding of governance, procurement, and third-party processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Champion delivery excellence across teams and projects, aligning execution with strategic objectives.
• Serve as the expert on delivery methodologies, tools, and templates, ensuring best-in-class practices.
• Develop and maintain toolkits and frameworks to support scalable, consistent delivery.
• Lead Delivery Guilds and communities of practice to foster knowledge sharing and innovation.
• Mentor and coach Delivery Managers, driving maturity and consistency across teams.
• Provide executive-level reporting on portfolio performance, risks, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure alignment and delivery success.
