Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Principal Project Manager (Consultant) to lead complex programs across the full software development lifecycle for US-based clients. You will blend program leadership with consulting to deliver measurable business value, shaping vision, governance, and delivery while building long-term client relationships founded on credibility and outcomes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
10+ years of experience leading enterprise technology delivery programs.
Experience delivering cloud transformation, application modernization, microservices and enterprise platform initiatives.
Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, release management and operational readiness.
Expertise in Agile and traditional delivery frameworks.
Proficiency with Azure DevOps and Atlassian; Smartsheet desired.
Experience managing project budgets, forecasting, profitability and performance.
Experience with Fixed Price, Time & Materials and Managed Services engagements.
Strong risk, dependency and governance expertise.
Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation and executive presentation skills.
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and scalable delivery practices.

Responsibilities

Lead complex programs and interlinked workstreams with clear outcomes and milestones.
Define and evolve delivery methodologies, planning standards and tools for sustainable delivery.
Translate strategic goals into executable roadmaps and governance.
Influence C-level stakeholders to shape program vision and investment decisions.
Develop long-term client engagement strategies using market insight and emerging tech.
Serve as a trusted adviser balancing client strategy, technical context and commercial obligations.
Define reporting standards ensuring visibility of progress, risks, finances and decisions.
Implement RAID management and anticipate constraints before they affect delivery.
Develop contingency strategies and elevate material risks with clarity.
Manage program budgets to maximize profitability and maintain transparency.
Maintain knowledge of Ensono Digital products and connect client needs with specialists.
Lead proposals and presales responses with insights and mitigations.
Contribute to competency strategy and champion continuous improvement.
Encourage professional development and mentoring within Delivery Management.
Curiosity and openness to AI-driven approaches to improve efficiency.
