Job summary

Mercer, part of Marsh & McLennan, seeks an experienced senior consultant for its Investments and Retirement team. The role is hybrid and based in multiple cities including Phoenix, with in-office days required.

You will lead DC client engagements, design and benchmark plans, and present review reports for advisory and OCIO work. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of retirement-plan consulting experience, fiduciary knowledge, and strong client development and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience providing investment advice and consulting for retirement plans.
• Strong understanding of the defined contribution landscape including fiduciary topics, investments, plan design trends.
• Ability to develop new ideas and improve efficiency at local and zone level.
• Track record for building intellectual capital for business development and client delivery.
• Strong presentation skills; polished, professional countenance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead advisor to defined contribution clients.
• Support plan investments, plan design and fee benchmarking, recordkeeping vendor management.
• Present plan review/investment review reports to clients for advisory and OCIO engagements.
• Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of all client work.
• Initiate and participate in sales activity and assist in developing opportunities and strategy.
• Retain and grow a book of business through long-term client relationships.
