Job summary

Marsh is seeking a talented professional to join our Investments and Retirement team in a hybrid role across Los Angeles, Denver, Irvine, Phoenix, San Francisco or Seattle. You will serve as the lead consultant for defined contribution plans and advise on investments, plan design, fiduciary governance and employee engagement strategies.

Contribute to business development, retain and grow client relationships, and collaborate with other Mercer lines.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of investment consulting for retirement plans
• Strong defined contribution landscape knowledge including fiduciary topics
• Ability to develop new ideas and improve team efficiency at local/zone level
• Track record in business development and client delivery
• Strong presentation skills and professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Lead consultant and advisor to defined contribution clients with plans between $25M and $500M in assets; for Sr. Consultant, managing at least $1,000,000 in revenue
• Support clients on plan investments, plan design, fee benchmarking, and vendor management
• Present plan and investment review reports to clients for advisory and OCIO engagements
• Oversee RFP/RFI marketing process, strategy and transition; present results to client
• Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of all client work; uphold fiduciary governance practices
• Retain and grow a book of business through long-term client relationships and cross-sell across Mercer lines
