Job summary

Marsh's Investments and Retirement team seeks a Sr. Consultant to lead defined contribution client advisory for plans typically ranging from $25M to $500M, across multiple major cities in the US.

This hybrid role requires at least three days in the office weekly and offers opportunities to design plan investments, governance, and employee engagement strategies while collaborating with sales to grow Mercer lines of business.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience providing investment advice and retirement plan consulting/strategy.
• Strong understanding of defined contribution landscape including fiduciary topics, investments and plan design.
• Ability to develop new ideas to solve client problems and improve team efficiency.
• Track record of building intellectual capital for business development and client delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead consultant to defined contribution clients with plans from $25M to $500M in assets.
• For Sr. Consultant, manage at least $1,000,000 in revenue.
• Support clients on plan investments, design, and fee benchmarking; manage vendor relationships.
• Present plan/investment reviews to clients for advisory and OCIO engagements.
• Ensure compliance and professional standards across processes and projects.
• Initiate and participate in sales activities and assist in developing opportunities.
• Retain and grow client relationships and expand Mercer lines of business.
• Serve as subject matter expert on defined contribution topics and plan design consulting.
• Oversee marketing processes, RFP/RFI strategy, and present results to clients.
