Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the Global Strategic Partners Sales team. You will work hands-on with partner engineering teams to design, implement, and deliver agentic AI solutions and GenAI patterns in real time.

You will build prototypes, mentor delivery teams, and create reusable frameworks that accelerate AWS adoption across international partners. A strong cloud and programming background is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, or infrastructure.
• Hands-on work managing complex technology projects.
• 3+ years designing, building, and deploying applications on AWS.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, TypeScript, Go).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform) and CI/CD pipeline design.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy solutions on AWS alongside partner engineering teams — from proof-of-concept through customer delivery, with a focus on agentic AI applications and GenAI design patterns.
• Architect agentic systems using Bedrock, AgentCore, Step Functions, Lambda, and EventBridge — reusable patterns for multi-agent orchestration.
• Work embedded within partner teams — pair-program, conduct code reviews, debug distributed systems, and iterate rapidly.
• Create reusable assets — reference implementations, starter kits, deployment templates (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform), and documentation.
• Own the technical relationship with large consulting partner customers — as the trusted hands-on advisor.
• Drive adoption through building — turning proof-of-concept into reusable patterns that scale AWS adoption.
• Contribute thought leadership — author blogs, whitepapers, and open-source projects; present at AWS Summit and re:Invent.
• Act as the voice of the partner — provide feedback to AWS service teams and propose feature requests.
