Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to accelerate our Global Defense Partners business. You will shape strategies and deliver on mission-driven cloud solutions for federal customers, collaborating with partners and internal teams to enable proof-of-concept deployments and scalable architectures.

The role requires a Top Secret or higher clearance and a strong track record in cloud computing, systems engineering, and executive-level communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in tech domains (cloud, software, networks, security).
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience developing technology solutions and end-to-end roadmaps guiding IT transformations toward cloud computing.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture efforts for federal customers and PoCs.
• Develop end-to-end technology roadmaps guiding IT transformations toward cloud.
• Collaborate with sales, BD, and partner teams to evangelize AWS solutions.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS SA community.
