Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City, OK, is seeking a Deputy Program Manager (Level K) for the Saudi AWACS program within Boeing Defense, Space and Security. This on-site role leads cross-functional teams, manages program plans, and collaborates with customers and suppliers to meet schedule, cost, and performance goals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project leadership, EV management experience, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
• Experience leading projects/programs using Earned Value management and RIO management to drive performance.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in Program Management on a large program.
• Minimum of one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, or formal manager) OR completion of Boeing internal leadership course.

Responsibilities

• Manages employees that develop projects and program plans across functions and ensures objectives are met within scope, time, quality, and constraints.
• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
• Acquires resources for projects, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees.
