Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Wichita, KS, is seeking a seasoned Project/Program Manager for Spirit Defense. You will apply management principles to deploy tools and processes that meet customer, company, and regulatory requirements.

This on-site role requires 3+ years of PM/Program Management experience, the ability to obtain U.S. Secret clearance, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. A Bachelor's degree and SAP experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and Special Program Access (citizenship required).
• 3+ years of related Project Management and/or Program Management experience.
• Successful candidates must be able to secure program access approval.

Responsibilities

• Apply management principles to deploy tools and processes compliant with customer, company and regulatory requirements including configuration control.
• Plan, implement, and manage changes to product configurations and information.
• Audit detailed work statements and develop associated project files.
• Develop and document functional processes related to change.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet technical goals and objectives.
• Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and status for intervention with stakeholders.
