Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Reno, NV is seeking a Program Manager V for Defense & National Security to oversee all phases of program execution. This role requires managing documentation, budgets, and customer communications, with travel up to 25% and a US security clearance.

The position reports to the Director of Advanced Technology Programs in the Science & Technologies department, with onsite, remote, or hybrid options in Reno.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience managing rocket propulsion defense system programs.
• Experience managing Missile Defense Agency programs (MAP/PMAP).
• Business development activities with funding customers.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and monitors project work scope, schedule and budget.
• Prepares program management material and CDRLs.
• Ensures resources (engineering, manpower, production, facilities) are available.
• Interacts with project staff to guide budgeting and execution.
• Ensures deliverables meet requirements and milestones.
• Identifies and elevates program risks and issues early.
• Serves as primary customer contact for project information.
• Pursues follow-on and new business opportunities with customers.
• Travel up to 25% to various customer locations.
