Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Northridge, CA is seeking a Program Manager 3 to lead AARGM and AARGM-ER missile development within the AWBU. You will direct cross-functional IPTs and manage cost, schedule, and technical performance.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain SAP, a bachelor’s (or master’s) with 8–10 years in aerospace/defense, and a track record of delivering complex programs on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of experience in developing programs OR Master’s degree plus 8 years of experience.
• Experience leading high performing, cross-functional development teams in aerospace/defense.
• Experience delivering tasks on schedule, at or under cost, as lead or cost account manager.
• Proficiency with EVMS, IMS, and Risk & Opportunity Management.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain SAP clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Integrated Program Teams (IPT) to meet cost, schedule, and technical performance goals.
• Cultivate customer relationships to develop opportunities within the customer community.
• Develop new business through long-term strategic planning, capture planning, and proposals.
• Establish program organization addressing customer requirements and internal/external sub-organizations.
• Measure and report program performance to stakeholders.
• Deliver presentations to customers and executive management.
• Negotiate contracts, changes, and budgets.
• Identify, allocate, and manage program resources including workforce planning.
• Manage Government/customer property and suppliers to meet objectives.
• Ensure adherence to internal processes, standards, and contract scope.
