Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT is hiring a Procurement Manager 2 to lead the purchasing function for the Sentinel (GBSD) program. You will supervise staff, direct sourcing strategy, negotiate terms, and ensure supplier performance aligns with program objectives.

The role requires US citizenship and DoD security clearance eligibility. It is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package and a 9/80 schedule, with potential relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or Master’s with 6+ years in Global Supply Chain, U.S. Government contract, or Procurement/Subcontracts.
• U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading processes, and/or projects.
• Experience in Aerospace and Defense industry and working knowledge of FAR/DFARs.
• 5 years of experience with RFQs, bid analysis, PO negotiations, and procurement requirements.
• Experience managing supplier performance and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of staff, prioritizing work to support sector objectives.
• Provide direction to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Manage purchasing activities including RFQs, bid analysis, PO documentation, and supplier relations.
• Negotiate terms and conditions.
• Perform metrics reporting and data analytics.
• Develop supplier sourcing strategy.
• Manage supply chain risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-functionally inside and outside the organization.
• Establish long-term agreements with suppliers for multiple programs.
• Support Procurement teams in policies, sourcing, training, and development.
• Plan and assign procurement resources with appropriate skills and experience.
• Provide independent reviews of procurement products and compliance packages for audits.
