Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking an expert Solution Architect to join the Defense OEM Customer Outcomes team within Professional Services. You will design innovative software solutions using the Xcelerator portfolio to accelerate digital transformation for defense customers.

You will translate business requirements into architected designs, lead solution definition, and collaborate with consultants, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or related field is required, advanced degree may substitute.
• Minimum 3-5 years of technical experience as an Architect, including leadership of large-scale software implementation projects.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience with progression in responsibility.
• Proficiency with Agile principles and methodologies in project delivery environments.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business requirements into architectural blueprints across applications, systems, and platforms.
• Lead the application of Solution Definition and Solution Enablement elements from the Deployment Framework on customer projects.
• Provide accurate, timely information to project leadership on status, issues, risks, and value realization.
• Establish, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, technical peers, and stakeholders to support delivery.
• Demonstrate thought leadership by guiding customer expectations and recommending high-value solutions.
• Collaborate with senior project leadership and account teams to apply customer management methodologies for adoption of DI solutions.
• Lead validation activities including prototyping and testing with customers to verify solution fit and defend architectural choices.
• Identify required organizational and process changes; assist customers in managing transformation and adoption.
• Travel: 25%.
