Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a Defense OEM Solution Architect to design innovative software solutions using the Xcelerator portfolio, aligning with customer needs and value delivery.

You will lead architecture work within the Professional Services team, translating business requirements into scalable designs, and guiding customers through the Siemens Delivery framework. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in software engineering; advanced degree may substitute experience.
Multiple years designing Teamcenter or similar customer solutions.
Minimum of 3-5 years technical experience as an Architect.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
Experience in the technical leadership of large software implementation projects.
Experience using Agile principles in project execution.
Excellent presentation skills and communication across audiences.
Shown team leadership skills.
Location: Must permanently reside in the United States.
Expected travel: 25% - 50%.

Responsibilities

Understand and demonstrate how Siemens solutions will integrate with customer initiatives.
Translate business requirements into an architectural blueprint across applications and platforms.
Lead application of DI Deployment Framework on projects.
Provide timely status updates and manage risks with stakeholders.
Establish relationships with customers and drive effective delivery.
Set expectations and influence stakeholders with thought leadership.
Support customer adoption of a viable DI solution with project leadership.
Validate templated solutions with customers and defend the chosen approach.
Outline required organizational changes and assist in change management.
