Job summary

Verity is seeking a Senior Modeling & Simulation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-fidelity simulations of military systems, including radars, C2, and flight models for missiles or aircraft, across Air and Missile Defense and Long-Range Fires.

You will work independently, translate requirements into validated simulation components, and integrate them into larger architectures, using C++ and/or Rust in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience with modeling and simulation.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or Rust for performance-sensitive simulation development.
• Experience modeling real-world physical or military systems (radar, C2, flight dynamics).

Responsibilities

• Independently design, develop, and maintain simulation models of military systems (radars, C2, flight models).
• Develop high-performance simulation software using C++ and/or Rust.
• Translate requirements into accurate, validated simulation components.
• Perform unit and integration testing to verify model fidelity.
• Produce technical documentation covering design, implementation, and test.
• Integrate simulation components into larger architectures and frameworks.
• Support analysis and experimentation using simulation-based tooling.
• Participate in Agile workflows including code reviews and Git/GitLab.
